This time of year, there seems to be a lot of pressure on those with significant others. After all, it’s not soon after Christmas that the candy hearts and flowers start showing up on store shelves and you’re bombarded with “Valentine gift ideas” from every retailer you know. Of course, Valentine’s Day can also mean an hours-long wait at an overpriced restaurant, expensive roses that will die in the course of a few days and crowded movie theaters packed with romantic movie-goers. This year, why not simplify and have a little Valentine’s romance at home? Of course, that all starts with (you guessed it!) clean windows!
Check out our ideas for making this February special at home:
Plant a garden
Don’t buy your partner flowers that will die in a few days; plant a garden that you both can enjoy for months (or years) to come. But be sure you have clean windows so you can enjoy gazing out at the flowers from your comfy home.
Romantic dinner
A romantic dinner doesn’t have to include a crowded, expensive restaurant. Prepare a yummy meal at home, and break out the nice china and candles for a romantic setting. Of course, a dirty house (and dingy windows) can really break the mood, so call the clean window pros in advance!
Scavenger hunt
Send your love on a wild (albeit romantic) goose chase around the house and yard to find his or her romantic Valentine’s Day gift. The last clue might even encourage him or her to gaze out the window to see a beautiful Valentine display in the yard. Of course (you know what we’re going to say), you’ll need clean windows!
This year, why not simplify your plans while showing your partner how much you care? Valentine’s Day at home has never been so romantic!
